Emergency Assistance and Outreach Program
Assists with the special needs of the handicapped, aged, low income and disadvantaged families. FEMA and LIHEAP monies assist with emergency financial payments for electric, and when funda are available, rental and prescription assistance.

Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee
Assists individuals and families to live independently by providing nutrition and other supportive services. Services include: Home delivered Meals, Adult day center, Outreach program, Caregiver support services, Telephone reassurance, Emergency heat & energy assistance for the elderly program, R.S.V.P. (Retired & Senior volunteer program), Transportation, Health monitoring, The food bank of Manatee which provides emergency family baskets, baby baskets and the county's food distribution program.
