       TOUCH OF HOME MINISTERIES

Our Missions Team, along with the United Methodist Women and our youth, put together care packages for our military men and women and mail them out on a regular basis.  These packages include cookies and goodies for the troops as well as personal hygiene products and magazines.  Our youth buy and personally sign Bibles that are specific to each branch of the military and those are mailed to the Military Chaplains to be distributed as needed.   See the topic "photos" on the home page to see pictures of our military men and women.

They collect school supplies and monetary donations for school supplies and deliver them to different schools for the children who need supplies but can't afford them and to teachers to help cust down on spending cost of school materials.

Our Missions Team also puts together a yard sale every year in October with items donated from our congregation.  This helps people in the community to be able to buy different things at a reduced price and what is left over goes to the migrant workers for use as they need.
