Dr.  Eugene ‘Gene’ Maddox

Rev. Gene Maddox began his ministry at Oneco UMC on July 3, 2016. Rev. Maddox graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity  Degree in 1982 and completed his Doctor of Divinity Degree at Asbury  in 2004.

His wife’s name is Leslie and they have two adult daughters, Bethany and Hannah, and one grandson, Shane.

Rev. Maddox has been a member of the Florida Annual Conference since 1986 and has served at Asbury UMC in Maitland; First UMC in Interlachen; Trinity UMC in Palatka; and First UMC in Brooksville.

            I’m Gene Maddox pastor, here at Oneco United Methodist Church.

            I’m new, having arrived in July 2016.

            Who are we? We are a group of people who are seeking to love God with all our heart and love everyone else just like Jesus does. We have a lot to learn and a long way to go, but with God’s help, we genuinely believe we are headed in the right direction. And we would love the opportunity to connect with you. Probably, the two best times to come over, would be at our worship service at 8:50AM on Sundays, and our family dinner (food is provided) on Wednesday evenings at 6:00PM (September – May).

Lisa Willis

Lisa is a graduate (Summa Cum Laude) of American Baptist College in Nashville, TN, with an A.A. Degree in Social Sciences.  She is also a graduate from McCall Tech. Institute of Nashville, with certification in Vocational Office Technology and Building Construction.  Lisa also holds a Paralegal Degree from The Paralegal Institute in Pheonix, AZ.
Lisa has worked as a teacher's aid for various Tech. instructors, customer service rep for TENNCARE health insurance of TN.,  customer service rep and Admin. assistant for Fidelity Insurance Co. of Bradenton, Fl.  She has worked for Goff Communications in the field of commercial electrical service and for Eagle Fire and Security as an installer; both here in Bradenton, FL. 
She has been employed at Oneco UMC since May of 2004.

Diane Bradbury

    Diane received her A A Degree from Manatee Junior College and her B A Degree from the University of South Florida in Education, with a minor in music--voice and piano.
    She joined Oneco UMC in the mid 1960's and has been the music director for over 30 years.

Greg Rohr

Greg is a graduate of Manatee Junior Gollege in Bradenton, Fl. , with an A.A. Degree in Music Education and Piano Performance.  He has traveled with the U.S. Air Force Band to over 22 countries as a full time pianist.   He also worked for Manatee UMC as an organist and gives private piano, organ and violin lessons.
